The Trader 535 comes from the hand of British designer Toby Chappell and was built in Taiwan in the finest boatbuilding tradition. The layout with its ample space, the quality of workmanship, the completeness of the equipment and the obvious cosiness make it a boat to feel at home on, even during longer stays. This example is particularly captivating due to its mint and well-maintained condition.
Motors & Generator
Self-sufficient thanks to diesel
Two very smooth-running diesel engines bring the ship up to 24 knots top speed. Operated from one of the two helm stations, which are equipped with Simrad instruments. Port manoeuvres are supported by the well-tuned bow and stern thrusters and allow stress-free manoeuvring even for the smaller crew. The power supply for underway is ensured by the ONAN generator and enables living like at home. No matter whether the washing machine has to work or a cosy movie night at anchor is on the agenda - no problem.

Luxury
Nothing is lacking
An air conditioning system with heating function serves each of the 3 double cabins as well as the 2 bathrooms. Even a central hoover is installed. From the spacious saloon with retractable TV and inner steering position, you go down to the two bow cabins, which share a bathroom with shower and electric toilet. The bed in the bow has a berth of 2.00 x 1.40m. The smaller cabin to port is ideal as a children's room with a bunk length of 1.80 m and plenty of storage space above the beds.
Pantry
A dream even for professional chefs
From the saloon towards the stern you will find the galley. From here you can also start the generator to prepare elaborate menus in the full kitchen. Refrigerator with 3-star freezer compartment, separate freezer compartment in the worktop, microwave, ceramic hob with 4 surfaces and oven, dishwasher, double stainless steel sink and a Miele washer-dryer leave nothing to be desired.

Wow!
The Master Cabin
The highlight comes behind the galley - the master cabin. It houses a 2.00 x 1.60 m bed with an incredible amount of space and storage. This cabin has an armchair with dressing table and of course its own bathroom with shower cubicle. All rooms in the ship (except the engine room) have a standing height of at least 2 metres.
There is a very elaborate and detailed website by a long-time owner of a Trader 535. Here he shares his experiences around the boat. Perhaps another read for you - Link. The boat lies on her paid winter mooring in the Trave Shipyard near Bad Schwartau. Upon purchase, the existing, new carpets are laid, the boat is polished and cleaned and handed over in top condition.
