This French-built long keeler is for sale here. The boat was extensively restored 3 years ago by two very experienced cruising sailors.
Port maneuvers made easy
Bow thruster rudder
The Chassiron is very solidly built using the hand lay-up method (epoxy) and designed for the long haul. The wall thicknesses of the outer skin are incredibly thick! She sails amazingly fast and as if on rails. To compensate for the disadvantages of the long keeler, a bow thruster was installed. This also keeps harbor maneuvers nice and relaxed.
Classic mahogany
Beautiful interior layout
Inside, everything is finished in mahogany. When you come down the companionway, there is a wide dog bunk directly to starboard, which can also accommodate two people. The second WC was originally on the port side. There is now a small workshop with a vice. Further forward is the navigation area with the instruments and a permanently installed on-board computer with nautical charts for worldwide navigation. The galley naturally also has a tap for seawater only to conserve the fresh water tank. The saloon is spacious and comfortable. Further forward is the bathroom with pump toilet and the bedroom.
