Looking for a robust sailboat for adventures big and small? This Feltz Skorpion II is a great entry-level boat from the renowned Feltz shipyard in Hamburg.

Just sail
Simple technology
The Feltz Skorpion II has some amenities that make sailing easier. A furling system was installed in 2005 and there was a new genoa for the occasion. As the boat has not been sailed since 2009 and has only been in the hall, the genoa does not have many years under its belt. The mainsail is older and is reefed with classic binder reefs. A tiller pilot ensures single-handed capability. The instruments and electrics are kept simple, but this makes them easy to maintain and reliable.
Good condition
Exchange engine
A major refit took place in 2005, when the boat was blasted and rebuilt, and the furling system was installed. At some point, the boat got a new engine (a three-cylinder BMW), which has just received a complete service including prophylactic tank cleaning. Since 2009, the boat has only been in the hall for health reasons of the owner. Due to this long hibernation, little is known about the boat. If you want an exact year of construction, a complete history and so on, you are wrong with this boat. If you are looking for a robust sailor for little money, this is the right boat for you. Of course, not everything is perfect and polished; you could swing the brush, do something to the upholstery and the cake stand, but you don't have to. Everything on board works. The Feltz Skorpion II is handed over ready to sail with fresh antifouling in the water.
