The ship has been in the possession of the current owner for 11 years. During this time, he has invested between 30,000 and 40,000 euros annually in the overhaul and equipment of the Meridian 43. Since the owner has acquired a larger vessel, you can purchase a finished blue-water yacht at an affordable price and start sailing right away.

The boat is ideal for families or for the single-handed sailor. The sail plan allows even not so strong crew members to set the sails. The mast baskets provide a secure hold when working on the mast and the railing, raised to 80 cm, allows safe movement on deck. The teak and mahogany timbers of the deck (12 mm) and cockpit were relaid by a shipyard about 7 years ago and are in mint condition. The sheltered centre cockpit with a bench length of 1.90 m and a fold-out table offers enough space even for guests. In addition to the really large locker in the cockpit, there is also a huge storage space for fenders etc. on the mizzen.

The battery bank consists of 450 Ah Lithium LiFePO4 Batteries (2019) and a 90 Ah lithium starter battery. The weight saving and the possible extraction of 90% of the capacity do have their price (approx. 11,000 euros), but in terms of energy technology you are in an excellent position. The charger/inverter combination works with an output of 3000 watts sine wave for 220 volts at anchor and 120 amps for charging the battery bank.

Down below, too, the ship has been renovated, improved and changed with great attention to detail. The saloon with leather-covered benches, a Compass (deco) built into the saloon table, the recessed Tivoli Radio, the illuminated cupboards and the electronic control panel hidden behind a door, the light-proof curtains and the on-board crockery make it unique. The 900 litre water tank in the keel supplies the galley, the bathroom with shower and the outside shower with either hot or cold water. Of course, there is also a holding tank. The engine room, accessible from 2 sides, houses the Yanmar 4 cylinder installed in 2009 and the necessary aggregates. Lighting inside and outside is of course LED, partly dimmable.
