Najad 320
Top maintained, unmodified, high quality
Are you looking for a boat that still has all the qualities that the Swedish shipyards were said to have? Thick GRP, Swedish quality construction, seaworthiness, moderate long keel, reworked teak deck, rudder with skeg, single-handed suitability, excellent interior fittings - and all that at a fair price? Then you don't need to read any further, but call us directly.
Typically Swedish
Fixed discs and cake stand
Of course, the Najad has the characteristic fixed windscreens, as is usual for other Swedish shipyards (Hallberg-Rassy, Malö...). In addition, there is a sprayhood. A part is attached to the sprayhood by means of a zipper, which covers a third of the cockpit and guarantees a dry seat - or can be folded away. The sprayhood was cleaned by the sailmaker 2 years ago, but has stains. A cake shack is available, as well as a tree tent in case the weather should be really nasty. For the furling genoa there is a cover tube as protection, of course in the typical Najad red.

Volvo Penta 2003
Few engine hours
A powerful 3-cylinder brings the ship up to speed when there is a lull. The Volvo Penta 2003 has only 1693 engine hours and looks as good as new. Every year it has had a complete overhaul, and the saildrive has also had new oil every year. The engine starts immediately and normally does not smoke; if it has been standing for a long time, it can sometimes smoke at the beginning. The stainless steel diesel tank is located in the bilge and holds 80 litres. Thanks to dual-circuit cooling, it will probably easily last 100 years with consistent use and care.
Equipment
A strong autopilot
An Autohelm ST6000, a super-reliable and oversized autopilot for this size of boat, steers reliably and is fed by two 95Ah consumer batteries that were renewed in 2017. The 1000-watt electric windlass retrieves the 15kg Bruce anchor with about 40m of chain from the depths, and of course there's a stern anchor with chain leader - the boat is made for the Swedish archipelago, after all.
The auxiliary heater has given up after 30 years, but all the hoses and air pipes are there, so connecting a new one is no big deal. One flame of the three-burner cooker no longer works properly, the red trim strip could do with a new coat of paint, and the cover of the GPS display in the cockpit has been lost - but that's about it in terms of defects. Great, isn't it?
Are you looking for a reliable cruising yacht? Then this Najad is the boat for you. Come by for a tour!
