This classic long keeler was built over 800 times in Sweden due to its popularity. In 1971, the Vindö was presented for the first time at the boat show in Hamburg. The Yacht wrote at that time (1/1972): "Modern sea cruiser with proven lines for tours and regattas equally suitable; a ship of positive compromises".

Below deck
1.88 m headroom
Downstairs, more modern standards have been reached with a headroom of approx. 1.88 m and 5 sleeping berths. Cooking is done with paraffin, refrigeration with ice packs and heating with lamp oil. There is plenty of storage space, a toilet room that can be locked to the saloon and the most necessary navigation equipment. Ideal for a small family!
New lacquer
Well maintained
In the last two years, the current owner has invested a lot of time and money. On the outside, the woods were painted with Epifanes hardwood varnish oil, the deck superstructure by the companionway and the sliding hatch garage were renewed and the windows were resealed after removal and cleaning. Inside, he gave the ship a new toilet, new batteries, a "new" used engine (the old one comes with it), with a new shaft, new stuffing box and new shaft seal.

Of course, this is an older used boat and there is always something to do. The sails are ok but not new (approx. 20 years old), the teak deck is also ok, but a few joints should be repaired and a few plugs replaced. The underwater hull may be sanded down and rebuilt in about 2 years. Otherwise the boat is in a "can start right away" Condition.
