Are you looking for a Scandinavian sailing yacht with a centre cockpit and large aft cabin without paying the premium for the Hallberg-Rassy name? Then this ship might be something for you. The berth, which belongs to the owners, can also be purchased.
Built on Orust
Swedish quality
Built on the Swedish island of Orust - like Hallberg-Rassy, Najad and Malö - the Forgus 36 has the same characteristic fixed windows, a sturdy teak deck still 10 mm thick, a sheltered centre cockpit and aft cabin. She doesn't have the wide blue stripe like Hallberg-Rassy, for example, but can more than keep up with the better-known competition. Much is identical to the Rassys of the time, some is even better thought out.

The best place to sleep
Aft cabin
The galley with double sink, 3-burner cooker, oven and many drawers is on port side by the companionway. From here you can reach the large aft cabin through a passageway, more or less bent over depending on your height. This is the best place to sleep in the harbour and at sea. Very rare in a 36-footer is that there is a double bed and not 2 single beds in the aft cabin.
Protected
Centre cockpit
In the centre cockpit with its high coaming, you sit protected and very dry in all weathers. The traveler is mounted aft of the cockpit and therefore does not interfere. All winches are Andersen; the oversized genoa winches are self-tailing. All lines are diverted into the cockpit, making the boat single-handed and safe. In the cockpit there is a spacious forecastle locker. All instruments are placed above the companionway. The plotter is not the latest technology, but there is a daughter unit for it by the chart table below deck.
