Major Refit
The owner has replaced, modified, optimized everything, really everything expensive on this Moody 44. New engine, new mast, new carbon sails, new paint, new upholstery, new appliances, new electrics, new air conditioning - the list is endless. Only the best of the best has been installed. For every plotter, every cleat, every sail, he has researched and ordered only the best the market has to offer. Great build quality from the past, but without having to give up the latest technology!

Quality yacht
Sporty, fun, safe
Thanks to a short keel, the Moody sails sportily but safely. The keel bolts were prophylactically replaced in 2018. The new mast is 3.5m longer than the old one, but much lighter. Who has concerns about safety there: Don't worry, the owner had a renowned rigger fly in especially from Spain to complete the rebuild. In the protected center cockpit, you always sit dry, whether on the Baltic or in the Pacific. And with a view of the new Flexiteek deck - the latest generation; the shoring was designed for the Bowline magazine documented.
Dewy
Everything new - the great Moody quality remains
Not only the new Volvo Penta engine with less than 70 hours on the clock is a selling point. As I said, everything here is really new. Rig, sails, deck, winches, hardware, paint, heating, air conditioning, stove, floors, ceiling panels - you'll find the complete list below (invoices are welcome to be viewed). And if that doesn't convince you, just take a look at this great aft cabin. You won't find an aft cabin like this on many yachts. Guests or the children are accommodated in the foreship. In addition, there are 2 times bunk beds, thus a total of 8 berths.

This Moody 44 is the best you will find. Of course we are still looking at a used boat here. Although technically up to date, you can see here and there small quirks in the wood and stains on the upholstery in the salon. So if you really want it to be absolutely perfect, you might want to change a few things. For example, the tapping points and the piping to the pressurized water pump should be renewed, and the fastening of individual ceiling panels should be strengthened. Also the radio is probably missing an antenna, because the reception is very poor. For everyone else: Board, cast off. The boat is now in its paid winter storage in the Dick shipyard in Kiel and will be handed over rigged in the water in spring '24.
